Most grill for the money–hands down The older version of this grill has already been reviewed at this link: http://www.amazon.com/Dyna-Glo-DGP350NP-D-Smart-Living-Two-Burner/dp/B004SKMZZQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top. For this new grill, Dyna-glo seems to have considered the few shortcomings highlighted by those previous reviewers. The side tables now incorporate handy, very solidly constructed, utensil pegs. The other noticeable change is the ignitor button. I don’t know how the older one worked but I assume, since they changed its configuration, it works better under the new design. At any rate, it works just fine. This grill is solid. The only cheapy, plastic, lightweight parts–as previously noted in at least one of the older reviews–are the knobs that regulate the flow of gas to the burners. Once they’re attached and the grill is operational, however, you won’t notice how lightweight they are. The grill “feels” well appointed and muscular. It heats quickly, cleanly, and holds heat very well. I seared salmon…

It’s a decent grill, but the other reviews make it sounded like the greatest grill ever made When I buy stuff, I do my research! I have never seen reviews for an item I was shopping for as wonderful as the reviews for the Dyna Glo 2 burner grill. With the reviews I read, and I think I read them all, you’d think Dyna Glo perfected grilling and the production of grills! But, that is not the case. It’s thin steel and poorly insulated (except the lid). The knobs, as many have stated, are cheap. But so are the grates and the igniter and the steel and the burners.I want to add this as early as possible. For the money, this may be the best grill out there. But as far as grills are concerned, is pretty mediocre. The incredible reviews left me with expectations far higher than what this grill can deliver and I hope my review helps at least one person have more realistic expectations. It does some things well. If it didn’t, I wouldn’t have described it as the best for the money. It gets hot, fast! It does a great job with indirect grilling…

Great small grill! Easy to assemble, the grill was ready for business within an hour of starting the project. It started right up once the propane tank was attached. I let the grill heat up and burn-off any production residue that may have remained on the hood, grate and other internal parts for about 20 minutes. I could smell, during that time, something being consumed or released, and once the odor subsided, I put on my first steak.Because the grill gets so hot, a quick turn of the ribeye seared the meat juices inside. Additional cooking at reduced temperature for about 12 minutes in total resulted in a delicious dinner. The grill looks to be fairly substantial, although the base tray that hold the wheels, and is the platform for the entire grill assembly, is flimsy and flexes if the surface the wheels are on isn’t perfectly flat (my grilling area is brick). This affects the opening and closing of the door to the propane tank. For about $260 (including the cover)…
