The high-output daylight balanced compact fluorescent bulbs are ideally suited for digital photography and the daylight color eliminates the need for color correction. They also have very low heat so they don’t get hot like the more common photo bulb choices. Great starter light kit for photography and videography Ok – I’ve been an amateur photographer for a few years now. Several of my previous employers have used me for marketing photography and the one thing I really missed personally was the lights we used for those shots. I’ve been looking for something to use for a while and I really liked the series of light kits offered by Square Perfect. Here are my thoughts after using it for a couple of hours.First off – here are the reasons why I bought this particular kit over other similar kits on Amazon. I liked the size of the light boxes – they are big enough to provide a great light source, but small enough to keep from diffusing the light too much. I liked the overall wattage although the numbers aren’t quite right (more on that later), and I liked the fact that it included a carrying/storing case.
